FASD-Flexible Packaging Manufactures Association was established in 2005 and is the only and most complete representative body of the flexible packaging manufacturers operating in Turkey.

FASD , is to become a leading non-governmental and non-profit organization ; representing its members companies manufacturing of flexible packaging manufacturers, on both national and international platforms, protecting its members' rights, acting proactively in developments and governmental regulatory issues applicable to the industry.

FASD , powered by the strong unity within the Association is; to develop the Turkish flexible packaging industry as a whole, by supporting its members and creating necessary conditions and environment in which Turkish flexible packaging industry will be a leading supplier zone in the world flexible packaging market .

The main strategies of FASD is to convey the main problems faced by the flexible packaging manufacturers, to the state and government officials and communicate with them for the purpose of solving the problems and developing the competitive manufacturing structure of the industry, by taking the global competitive conditions and European Union Ascension into consideration.

The Main Objectives of FASD

To become an association that supports its members, to develop the Turkish flexible packaging market.
To help the protection of the consumers.
To produce the flexible packaging products at the highest international standards and norms acceptable by the global markets and to widen the market range and increase the market share of flexible packaging
To provide solutions for the problems arising between the flexible packaging manufacturers and the government and municipalities. .

• To maintain and improve the social, economical and commercial relations between the members.

• In order to inform the members about the current problems and their main solutions, organize meetings and seminars.

The members of the association is informed by the highest communications for the industry related technical and economical developments,
Performs highest coordination and communication with the other related corporations,
Performs all research activities about the commercial and economical needs of the corporations of which its member companies have shares
In order to improve the presentation and marketing activities of its member companies, communicates and coordinates with the domestic and international corporations, acting within and obtaining the permission of the Turkish laws and regulations
Announce the point of view and will of the association about the laws, regulations, status and notifications relating with the objects of the association.

FASD is closely communicates and coordinates with the Prime Ministry, Ministry of Environment and Foresty, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, State Ministry responsible for the Economy and Ministry of Environment. On the other hand, FASD is a founder member of ADF-Packaging Manufacturers Federation and member of the Packaging Industry Platforms maintained by TOBB-The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey..

FASD by communicating and cooperating with the industry related corporations and associations at highest level, performs the lobby activities in order to insure the rights of its members.
